Job Description:
The GIS Program Manager is an administrative position responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, and directing geospatial data and services for the City of McCall. The GIS program operates with one employee dedicated to oversight and execution of all GIS functions. The primary role of the GIS Program Manager is to maintain the geospatial database in the City of McCall, its constituent software and hardware components, and to perform spatial analyses as needed to support decision-makers within the City. GIS services include printed map production, the development and publication of on-line maps and apps, and in-field data collection. The GIS Manager provides technical expertise and supervision for the City’s GIS implementation and its day-to-day operation. The GIS Program Manager is also the Addressing and Road Name Coordinator for the City of McCall. The GIS Program Manager works under the general supervision of the Community and Economic Development Director, although considerable leeway is granted for independent decision making. The GIS Program Manager may at times direct the work of one seasonal GIS Technician but will generally carry out all functions of the program individually.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this opportunity is $32.40 to $46.34 per hour with a mid-point of $37.67; the starting wage will be dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.
