On Saturday, August 19, 2023, at approximately 11:41 p.m., McCall Police Department officers responded to a report of an unconscious individual lying in the bike path near the intersection of Lenora Street and Wooley Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious male who was badly injured. Officers immediately began administering CPR. Shortly after, McCall Fire Department Paramedics and EMTs arrived and took over medical care. The victim was transported to St. Lukes McCall, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim's family has been notified.
We believe this incident to be vehicle-related and are investigating the incident as a vehicle vs. pedestrian hit-and-run.
