Did you receive a text message today from the City of McCall regarding the EPA's rule for copper and lead testing in pipes and a survey?

McCall Water Department requests your help in completing this important survey to document the material of your water service line from the water meter to just outside of your house or business. The city is asking for this information to determine if there is any lead on the private side of the service line and for the completion of a service line inventory map. Please take our survey.

On August 4, 2022, EPA released Guidance for Developing and Maintaining a Service Line Inventory to support water systems with their efforts to develop inventories and to provide states with needed information for oversight and reporting to EPA. The guidance provides essential information to help water systems comply with the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions requirement to prepare and maintain an inventory of service line materials by October 16, 2024
